Single-pole switch: what is it used for?
The single-pole switch is designed to turn a light on and off from a single control point: bedroom, living room, office, walk-in closet, entryway, or any other room that does not require control from multiple locations.
This is a single-pole switch. If you wish to control the same light from two different locations, you will need to use a suitable two-way mechanism rather than this MWP-1 model. KARLIK clearly distinguishes the single-pole MWP-1 from the MWP-3 intended for two-way switching.
Wiring accessories that blend into your interior
Where a traditional switch usually disappears into the wall, NuanceLumi suggests using it as a genuine architectural detail.
Choose a tone-on-tone finish for a subtle result, or a contrasting shade to intentionally highlight the accessory. MINI mechanisms can be combined with the various compatible cover plates in the range, including the round plates offered by NuanceLumi. KARLIK sells the mechanisms and cover plates separately to allow for this customization.
Installation
The MWP-1 is intended for flush-mounted installation. Electrical connection is made via screw terminals and the mechanism can be fixed using screws or claws.
Things to know before ordering
The external cover plate is sold separately.
To obtain the final visible set, pair this switch with a compatible cover plate from the MINI range. For a simple installation, choose for example a 1-gang round plate; to combine two mechanisms in the same assembly, use a suitable 2-gang round plate.
The MWP-1 can also accept an optional indicator light module sold separately. KARLIK provides several lighting modules, including white, green, blue, or red.
